, o Serviço de Segurança Norueguês (PST) deu uma conferência de imprensa ontem para divulgar o seu relatório sobre ameaças. Tal como nos anos anteriores o relatório fez referência à ameaça da radicalização islamista na Internet, este ano o PST nomeou também uma organização anti-islâmica, a Liga de Defesa Norueguesa (NDL). Alega o PST que «a NDL apresenta-se como um movimento político legal, mas tal como vemos no Reino Unido, as fronteiras são fluídas. Acaba frequentemente por se envolver em confrontos violentos contra quem tem opinião oposta.»

Claro que a possibilidade de as provocações e os ataques violentos partirem da antifaria do costume não deve interessar nada... Mas enfim, a PST tem de demonstrar à elite reinante que não é racista, pois se habitualmente denuncia a ameaça islâmica, agora tinha de «bater» também nos «nazis»...
Note-se que a NDL propriamente dita não usou ainda a violência.
O líder da NDL, Remi Huseby, de vinte e dois anos, foi já expulso do sindicato dos Trabalhadores dos Transportes devido ao seu posicionamento ideológico. A alocução pública do PST contra a NDL foi para ele a gota de água, levando-o a dirigir um SMS ao jornal Dagbladet para anunciar que se demite da organização, dizendo o seguinte: «Confirmo assim que estou a abandonar a NDL porque a NDL foi tomada por neo-nazis.»
Vários outros membros da NDL confirmaram ao Dagbladet que há uma luta interna pelo controlo do movimento - um confronto ideológico entre nacionalistas, simpatizantes do NS e anti-muçulmanos politicamente moderados.
E não admira que os «nazis» tenham força neste ou em qualquer outro movimento de resistência europeu - são os que estão mais militantemente dispostos a fazer alguma coisa pelos Nossos.

Salma fled her home after dad tried to ‘sell’ her again

When she was 13-years old, Salma (full name withheld) from Saudi Arabia was forced to marry a man aged over 60.
The man paid her father a dowry of SR250,000 ($68,000), but Salma says it was like she was actually sold.
Salma, now in her 30s, has no home and is deprived of seeing her six children following her divorce. When she tried to take them, she was thrown in prison for six months.
As if all this was not enough. After she was divorced and her children taken away, her father tried to sell her again – this would-be husband refused to offer more than SR100,000.
But it was her not her father who turned down that offer. Feeling that she had enough, she packed and fled her home.
“I was only 13 when this rich old man came and paid my father SR250,000. I was forced to marry a man who is as old as my grandfather… I was snatched off my fifth class at that age,” said Salma, from the central town of Makkah.
“He took me to his home in Madina and there I found that he already has three wives… I then started to spend my time playing with his children as I was a child and had no idea about marriage life.”
Salma, now in her 30s, said her marriage lasted around 17 years, during which she gave birth to four daughters and two sons.
“During my marriage to this man, I suffered from torture and very bad treatment… I then fled to my family’s house and stayed there with my children for nearly three years, after which I was divorced.”
The Saudi Alikhbariya newspaper said Salma first refused to give back the children to her ex-husband, prompting him to go to court.
“Police arrested me and I was jailed for six months… when I was released, I went back to my family and stayed for a while before another old man came and paid SR100,000 to marry me,” she said.

UN Set to Release Report Praising Libya's Human Rights Record
Bloodshed continues but world body hails human rights
The UN Human Rights Council is set to adopt a major report hailing Libya's human rights record -- despite moving to suspend the Arab country's council membership amid an international outcry over attacks on civilians.
The report shows countries applauding and commending Libya as they note "with appreciation the country's commitment to upholding human rights on the ground."
Even Canada "welcomed improvements" Libya made "in its respect for human rights," according to the report, which is scheduled for a vote before the Geneva-based 47-member council March 18. But the Canadian government also made several critically framed recommendations to the Gadhafi regime, including one calling for reinforced measures aimed at fully investigating torture claims.
The 23-page report was compiled as part of the council's "Universal Periodic Review" -- a process the UN bills as a rigorous scrutiny of the human rights records of each UN member state every four years.
